A new documentary about Ibiza has been around for a while at different festivals and will soon be available on streaming. It is about Born Balearic: Jon Sa Trinxa and The Spirit Of Ibiza that focuses on the figure of the veteran British DJ who has been living on the White Island for a quarter of a century and playing records on Las Salinas Beach on the shores of the Mediterranean in the chiringuito from which he took the nickname.
Directed by the Taiwanese Lily Rinae , it lasts more than 70 minutes and also focuses on other cultural aspects of the island, outside of the madness of the centers better known by young people who go to the island in summer.
The film will be released in the seventh edition ofDoc’n Roll Film Festival in London and can be booked to stream here from November 8 through November 15.
